| | it was around dinner time, i was outside getting my gear on in preparation for a motorcycle ride to church. i had nicole started a few minutes before riding to give her time to warm up her engine. got my jacket on, got my earplugs in my ears, and i noticed a tiny little dot coming at me, which seemed to be getting larger and larger. by the time it became a big dot, it was only a few feet away from me, which turned out to be a little boy not older than 5. his father had been walking with him while he rides his tricycle. by the time he got to be a few feet away from nicole, i noticed that he had stopped, and was staring at her...for the longest time. before i put my helmet on, i smiled to the father, then to the boy, and waved. then i put my helmet on, and i noticed the little boy was still staring at her. after i had put my gloves on, i waved again, and instead of making a U turn, i rode off in the opposite direction and made a U turn a distance away so that i can avoid having nicole's exhaust gas blown right into the boy's face. as i was riding away, i turned and looked into the rear view mirror and the little boy was trying to catch up on his tricycle...and that reminded me of someone...
